FREE Audio - Power Your Mind to Achieve Unlimited Motivation

Dear Self Improvement Subscriber,

On the journey of progressive enhancement, goals and motivation go hand and hand. Each serves as a catalyst to fuel the movement of the other.

When you achieve goals, you stay motivated, and when you are motivated, you achieve your goals.

It seems pretty simple, yet many people fail to take notice of how truly important this relationship is.

They either set goals that they have trouble achieving and wind up losing motivation, or their motivation disintegrates at some point and their goals wind up doing the same.

For example, let's assume Jim is tired of making 50k per year because they cannot live comfortably on that amount of money. Living paycheck to paycheck and running up thousands of dollars in credit card bills is not fun for anyone.

And so with the hopes of making some extra cash, they start a multilevel marketing business on the side. Things are going well. While they're not exactly rich, they are not having problems with bills anymore, and occasionally they can treat themselves to something nice and put something away in savings.

This is where things get tricky. You see, because the goal to make more money was fueled by negative circumstances like not having money to pay bills, once the bills were being paid, Jim's motivation disappeared.

With the current state of the economy, many people are cutting back on spending, and a good amount of them aren't buying products from Jim like they used to. And now the panic creeps up again.

Had Jim stayed motivated to keep making more money, perhaps he would have saved more, reinvested, or found other ventures to invest in, which would provide a safety net for events such as these.

As much as I would love to think that I am smart enough to know why this happens, I don't because every person is different. But what I can tell you is that I have identified a common denominator that exists in many people who lose motivation.

And that is they let negative circumstances or events fuel their motivation rather than positive things. In other words, they let fear motivate them. When you are motivated by fear, your quest is to eliminate the fear. But once you do, there is nothing to keep you motivated.

That's why it's important to let success and achievements, rather than fear, fuel your motivation.

I, for example, have pictures of things that I would like to obtain, places I would like to go, and other pictures that represent the achievement of success to me personally.

They serve as a constant reminder of what motivates me. Sometimes, people look at me as if I'm crazy to have these pictures plastered all over my office. Truth is, I am, and in most cases, they're broke.

The key here is that you must use positive things to fuel your motivation rather than negative. In other words, let what you want out of life motivate you rather than fear of what you don't want.

The fact of the matter is that as fast as we become motivated, we can just as easily lose it.

This happens when you let circumstances or fear of them, rather than goals or the achievement of them, fuel your motivation.

True motivation should come from what we want out of life rather than what we don't want.

Now don't get me wrong. Being dead broke, homeless, going bankrupt, and not having money to feed yourself are great reasons to take charge and change your life for the better. They can serve as great motivators...initially. But once you reach a point where you're not starving, the key should be to focus on what more you want out of life.

You see, for people who have hit rock bottom, there is no other way except up. And so those with a positive mental attitude (as Napoleon Hill liked to call them) focus on what they do want out of life, and things improve.

But sometimes, once a person reaches a state of being comfortable, they lose sight of their long-term goals. Until of course, something negative occurs, which motivates them to take action once again.

And so they take action, things get back on track, and then the comfort level is raised again until another stroke of bad luck happens. Then the cycle starts all over again.

This is not goal-setting fueled by motivation by any means. This is the action of trying to keep your head above water.

Here's my point. You should only let negative circumstances serve as sources of initial motivation. Use them to propel you to take massive action to change your life. But once you're happy with the current state of affairs, start raising the bar and use your future goals and desires as sources of motivation.

Don't become stagnate and remain steady until something bad happens. Because when you do, your actions are not those that arise from motivation; you're simply taking emergency action.

Staying motivated is not always an easy thing to do. Yet it's essential to the achievement of anything we want in life.

If you want to get in shape, you must be motivated to exercise. If you want to make more money, you must be motivated to take action.

Within all of us, however, are certain things that can bring our motivation to a screeching halt. Things like complacency, laziness, and procrastination.

There are hundreds of different reasons or excuses that we think justify why we don't do everything we're supposed to do exactly when we're supposed to do it. And in our minds, we really believe that these are valid reasons rather than excuses.

I personally have invested thousands of dollars in products like books, tapes, CDs, and videos that were designed to keep me motivated.

And some of them did...for a little while. In the end, however, I would always resort back to bad habits and lose motivation. Until I tried hypnotherapy that is.

You see with most resources, you still must rely on your own conscious decision to take action. Hypnotherapy, however, works with your subconscious and allows you to pre-program yourself for success before you start setting yourself up for failure by consciously making a choice and not taking action.

In other words, there is no time to think about anything. The messages enter your subconscious without you even realizing it.

I personally have used the power of hypnotherapy to change my life in ways that nothing else could. And today I would like to share the magic with you...absolutely FREE.
