University announces energy initiatives

Don Leo, who has been named special assistant to the vice president for research for energy initiatives, said he will work to focus efforts on areas of established strength and emerging strength, specifically, fossil fuels, technologies for the hydrogen economy, renewable energy, nuclear energy, and energy conservation and policy.
